When available, 55 Flowery Hen and Exhibition Cream Legbar chicks will be included with more than half of those chicks being female, as these breeds are auto-sexing. Meaning male and female chicks can be distinguished by their coloration at hatch. All other breeds in the assortment are straight-run (unsexed), as we do not vent or feather-sex chicks at our farm.
Pricing reflects the cost per day-old chick or per hatching egg, and you may order as few as one or as many as you like. Orders of 1–3 chicks or eggs are guaranteed to include at least one breed. Orders of 4–5 will include a minimum of two breeds, and orders of 6 or more will include at least four breeds. Every assortment is curated to maximize diversity and create a well-balanced flock.
You are welcome to mix and match breeds or assortments to meet our six-chick shipping minimum, creating a vibrant and varied addition to your coop.
