About Greenfire Farms
We’re Not a Commercial Hatchery
- We personally oversee breeding decisions.
- Our birds are raised on-site, giving us control over their quality and health.
- We don’t sacrifice animal welfare for lower costs.
Our Farm Practices
At Greenfire Farms, we prioritize the happiness and health of our chickens:
Spacious Pens
A pen that holds just a few chickens here would hold hundreds at a commercial farm.
Healthy Living Conditions
Our birds move on a rotating pen system so they always have fresh grass ready for foraging.
Premium Care
They receive nutritious feed, fresh spring water, and live in an environment designed to enhance their well-being.
Breeding Excellence
Meet the Team
Jessica
Head Hen
A Florida native, Jessica is an FSU alum that has a passion for animal care, education, and conservation. She joined the team and officially started chicken tending in 2018. Her favorite chicken breed (right now) is the Yamato Gunkei and her favorite egg color is olive green, bonus points if the egg has speckles.
