We put together this assortment to include the best laying breeds from our farm. All of the breeds listed on this page typically lay 200 or more eggs per year on average. The breed list that we will select from is: 55 Flowery Hen, White Bresse, large fowl Bielefelder, Cream Legbar, Deathlayer, Gauloise Doree, Icelandic, Light Sussex, Marans, Mechelen Turkey Head, Pheasant Fowl, Pita Pinta Asturiana, Silverudd's Blue, and Svarthona. Please view the images on this page to see pictures of the breeds you may receive when ordering this assortment. Keep in mind this is an assortment and depending on the hatch, we may not be able to add a specific breed. If you have a breed in mind that you really want to get in this assortment, feel free to add that in the notes section when placing your order. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Most of the breeds will be included as unsexed chicks as our farm does not vent sex. The breeds that will be sexed will be from our auto-sexing breeds, so that includes the 55 Flowery Hen, Bielefelder, and Cream Legbar. If we can include those auto-sexing breeds we will include only female chicks unless you request for male chicks from those breeds to be added. When placing your order indicate if you'd like for auto-sexing male chicks to be added. The price you see on this page is the price per day-old chick and hatching egg. You can add as many chicks or eggs as you'd like or as few as 1 from this assortment to your cart. If you purchase between 1 to 3 chicks or eggs from this assortment, we guarantee that you will receive 1 breed. If you purchase 4 or 5 chicks or eggs from this assortment, then we guarantee that you will receive at least 2 breeds. If you purchase 6 or more chicks or eggs from this assortment, we guarantee that you will receive at least 4 different breeds. We will do our absolute best to include as much variety as possible. When ordering chicks, feel free to mix and match breeds or assortments to reach our 6-chick shipping minimum.
